Time

Time

Another day has come and gone, one more without you here
How long till we shall reunite? Decades and countless years?
It's such a paradox you see if I should count the days
For each one means we're farther from when you were called away
And yet each day that passes by, hastens forth the time
When I shall gaze anew at you, your loving face so kind
I've heard in Paradise, your home, that time holds little store
And so to you within a day, you'll gaze on me once more
And then for us, time shall become, a distant memory
Together we shall forge ahead, into eternity
