Four Years
Four years ago today you passed beyond
Your light extinguished in mortality
Life lost all meaning, everything so wrong
Midst darkness, hope, and joy I could not see
And yet somehow I found faith in my heart
I knew our Savior yet was by my side
His Spirit whispered peace within the dark
Assuring me you lived though you had died
Now happiness has once again returned
I'm filled with joy in knowing you are too
Throughout this journey, oh how much I've learned
Enlarging my eternal point of view
Our Savior loves us both so perfectly
He has a plan for our eternal bliss
Because of Him, again, your face I'll see
And plant upon your head a grateful kiss
