To be so close and yet so far, sometimes it breaks my heart
I hope you know, my love is strong, though now we are apart
I long to hold you close to me, and kiss you on your heads
I watch you grow, you're so alive, though you see me as dead
I wish that you could hear my voice, and hear me say your names
I whisper to you all the time, but it is not the same
