The Temple

Majestic beacon shining in the night
I enter and the world behind me fades
Reverently I dress myself in white
Reflecting on the covenants I've made

The lessons there reveal again anew
My royal heritage and destiny
Remind me of the things that I must do
To live with Father for eternity

The symbols there all point to Jesus Christ
And help me understand His sacred role
That through Him I can gain eternal life
He is my friend to help me reach this goal

Then once again into the world I go
And leave this heavenly abode behind
Protected by the knowledge I now hold
To walk in His pure light no longer blind
