The Great Divide

Here's a poem I've completed about the war of good versus evil.

The Great Divide

That war begun in councils long ago
Still rages here below upon the earth
And he once filled with light who stooped so low
Continues to assault us after birth

He ever seeks to bind us to his will
That we might share in his sheer misery
Both good and light he ever strives to kill
In hopes through sin, we lose our agency

The choice remains with us to bravely fight
Protected by the blood of Christ the Lamb
Will war's end find us squarely on the right
Aligned with Christ Our Lord the Great I Am

The days of indecision now have passed
No longer may we drift from side to side
The sifting time approaches now at last
Eternally apart - the great divide
