In honor of Mother's Day and mothers everywhere, here's a poem I've written in tribute to our first mother.
Mother
With grace and awesome majesty, She rules with God above.
With tender care, compassion too, She guides with perfect love.
Before this sojourn here on earth, She wrapped us in Her arms.
She nurtured and She cared for us. She kept us safe from harm.
With Father she designed a plan, to help us grow and learn.
That we might follow in Her steps - eternal glory earn.
Oh Mother may we be like thee, and love all whom we meet
And someday rest from earthly cares - into thine arms retreat.
Our hearts are full of love for thee, thy beauty we adore.
We seek to emulate thee here and live with thee once more.
