On this Father’s Day, I decided to write this poem, dedicated to my Heavenly Father. I am so grateful for Him, for His love, and for His plan for me. I look forward to joining Him again someday in my first, heavenly home.
Father
Thou formed me from intelligence, thou gave my spirit birth
Thou taught me of Thy royal ways, of exaltation's path
Thou formed a plan that I might grow, and sent me to this earth
Thou did provide a Savior dear, a means to all Thou hath
Oh Father how I love Thee so, and honor Thee this day
How can I show my gratitude, for all that Thou hast done
I'll emulate Thy character, Thy laws I will obey
That I may join Thee once again, when my life's test is done
