Here’s a poem I have written about our pre-mortal existence.
Destiny
Oh man how little thou doth comprehend
Of life, before thou came to this far sphere
From untold glory, thou did here descend
No longer to have Father, Mother near
Thy life before thee now is but a dream
A shadow of the life thou lived before
The day will come when thou again shall gleam
Thy true self filled with light revealed once more
And then thou shalt remember thy brave past
Of fighting for thy Father and His Son
Against a foe who shall be chained at last
Assuring precious agency be won
Oh man though mortal may thou ever know
How great a destiny before thee lies
Thy Father sent thee here that thou might grow
And one day reign with Him in yonder skies
