I do not know your name or face - your loved ones left behind
I'm grateful for your sacrifice, for which I'm still with mine
You gave your all for liberty, left nothing in reserve
I pray I never will forget, the glory you deserve
Because of you our nation stands, a beacon to the world
Because of you the Stars and Stripes, above are yet unfurled
May I remember in my heart, our freedoms are not free
And take for granted not the gifts, your service gave to me
