Tears

Tears

Here's a brand new poem we've composed and are excited to share with each of you. We are so grateful for Christ and the perfect empathy He is able to offer us through his Atonement and the miracle of His suffering in Gethsemane. No matter what you are going through, He vicariously has felt and experienced every nuance of your trial. We are so blessed to have Him as our Savior and Redeemer! Hallelujah!

Tears

I've shed a million tears or two, throughout my life thus far
In times and places so diverse, both tears of joy and pain
I've cried myself to sleep at night, upon my heart a scar
With tears, I've prayed and wrestled late, sometimes as if in vain

He too did cry while on the earth, He mourned a friend so dear
He wept for His Jerusalem, for her impending fall
And last within Gethsemane, as He did volunteer,
His tears and blood did freely flow, as Savior of us all

He suffered there for you and me, felt every last defeat
Experienced our shame and guilt, for every wrongful sin
And thereby understand all tears, with succoring so sweet
And compensate all tears that fall, by love for His dear kin

I long to join Him past the veil, when tears shall flow once more
As I embrace the King of Kings, with tears shall bathe His feet
Sweet tears of gratitude and joy, from humbled eyes shall pour
As l leave suffering behind, my happiness complete
