Burdens
I'm sorry for the stressful pain you feel
The agonizing nights you lie awake
I know your suffering is raw and real
You feel like everything in life's at stake
You question how much longer you can go
You wonder how much deeper you'll descend
Though all seems lost, I hope you'll come to know
That hope exists in Jesus Christ your friend
So when your back doth break beneath your load
When all is dark with no sign of relief
When boulders block your lonely twisting road
It's time to cast your burden at Christ's feet
In Him there is the strength to carry on
To bear you up and make your burdens light
To be with you though your pain may be long
Until at last you join Him by His side
