A Prayer for Brotherhood
Oh Father dear, in heaven near, before thee we now bow.
Oh bless our land we implore thee, our Union needs thee now.
We don’t know why some are born black, and others are born white.
But we are all thy children dear, so precious in thy sight.
Help us to see as thou dost see, and look beyond men's skin,
To look upon our brothers' hearts, and view their souls within.
Oh Father dear, in heaven near, help us to love all men,
And act in kindness as thy Son, in Jesus's name, Amen.
